Musings after the Pumpkin Patch (Short Story) - 4/14/2006 2:20:58 PM
Wow, this is a very vivid and poignant piece. I hope somewhere, somehow, your son gets to read this.
Public Fallout over the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute report (Article) - 11/27/2006 2:53:46 PM
This proves that such "Institutes" are nothing more than brutal kidnappers. Healthy children are ALWAYS raised by their natural parents and at least by their own mother in my experience.
Secrets in New York (Article) - 10/10/2006 10:57:18 PM
This is a very good article. I think adoptees should be able to access their records. The medical is very important, and everyone needs to know their roots. It gives a sense of purpose and continuity to their living experience. Thanks for posting this. I found it very informative.

"...Windows in my heart
From a higher up than heaven
And a harder down than stone
Shake the fear that always clawing
Pulls me clawing down alone..."
wonderful lines.......

I find this piece exquisite and pronunciative of 'myself', more clearly, my old self ... A lovely disturbing enigma!
You've choked my heart and soul with your writing, Claudia, a feat I love and appreciate! When an author can understand, with living, and actually feel anothers pain, when you reach heights you're sure no one's seen, but, others do, you must applaud yoursself, knowing you've reached an audience of One. How delightful! :) That is the goal of a Poet!
You've touched this heart of One.

You have done a wonderful job of editing this one up....
Very emotional piece...
"It falls apart
In the morning I cried
Leave me to die
You won't remember my voice "
Look forward to more of your work....

Why would anyone choose an eternity of that?
I don't know The Cure, so I can't compare. I would chose life and light, and fight for it until I know it is time to turn out the lights.

what a graphic expression of pain...this poem hurts, plain and simple...a very well-written expression of the nightmare you have endured.
