Nice story. I never think about a post-nuclear war canine society, interesting. I missed a little more explanation about the beligerance between the Pack and Mongrels. Very nice work.

Very cute photo. I got familiar with the Norwegian Elk Hound last year on a trip to Virginia with a friend. We went on Thanksgiving Eve to their her son's frinds home. Their Norwegian Elk hound has just 3 puppies. We went after eating a delicious meal to see them. The Mother and Father were so neat. They were so friendly. The puppies were so cute too. Just like the photo you post. I had a great time that eveing but kept petting the Mother, she was so thrilled and loving and good natured.
