What a wonderful excerpt on a very good topic. There is always so much news about men in prison, it is very interesting to learn about a female prisoner. God Blessings to you for taking a negative situation and turning it into something great and positive as an inspiration.

Powerful and charged writing style. Plus, the subject matter is provocative. To have the courage to write about a dreaded subject takes guts and courage. But you obviously had to have a lot of both to have survived being incarcerated. More power to you. Excellent write. Liz

I think that this is an interesting subject. However, there are a few things that I noticed- The author never tells exactly why she was imprisoned. The reader naturally wants to know this information and it is frustrating when you realize that it hasn't been explained. Grammatically, there are some places where the sentences need punctuation. For example: "This was their territory they were old-timers, women with old prison..." After the word "territory" either a period is needed and begin a new sentence, or a semi-colon.
Also, after words like "however" and "finally" a comma always should follow. The use of the word "which" is used more than once when it should be "that." There are also awkward sentences that not only lack punctuation, but are not written well. Example: "Being shackled to other women...made you even sicker or what was I thinking..."

Advice to Paris was heart felt.
There are things that vary from convict to convict, inmate to inmate.
I feel you speaking in general and that's good.
It covered more than just Paris. Your interview allowed the public that hasn't been there to know that there is more to just jumping in jail for 23 days and then jumping out whole.
I have very little faith in Paris though and I am sure she will not take your good advice.
She feels and thinks, she is the exception to the rule.
Especially after discovering the District Attorney's wife had an outstanding warrant for 9 years. She will shrug your wise advice and chunk it. She will justify, as being picked on because she is a poor little rich(girl) woman.
If she does take your advice, she will become a real celebrity.
I liked your interview.
