A true collector's item to be sure! One of a kind and most unique! A literary littany of blood, brutality and absolute insanity. Yet, with all its sacriligeous and sangineous narration, this story is descriptively painted in a manner that utterly defies description. So too, is the folly of a world esoterically explored in a manner that can only be described as: Beyond Belief. Well done, sir! My congratulations! This, coming from a reader who appreciates the bizarre, the banal, and well told tales of the most unusual!

In some literary circles this work containing the thoughts, memories, and memorable descriptions of a life never lived is not to be deemed an easy read, but a pleasurable and most satisfying one nonetheless. The words contained within the novel named 'The Happy Hour' are confounding to those who are easily confused, but are simply stated and easily understood to those readers, with patience and compassion, with wit and a true sense of irrational reason, who will certainly understand all that is written. Poe, King and Faulker and, yes, even Charles Dickins are all within these painted pages, it seems, to bear witness to a most unusual and descriptive prosaic language. Well done! What a joy to read! Give us more, please, Mr. Taylor!
