It's not easy building new life bridges and repairing old ones, changing bad life habits, and starting to live in a higher state of consciousness -- constantly being aware of your new life goals! The first step is in reconizing the weaknesses you want to eliminate -- and the new character traits that you want to incorporate into your being. I applaud you for not waiting for the world to change, but being proactive in that change. I think your poem shows a soul that has been enlightened,and no longer caged. Now you can continue to achieve your desires to make a difference in bettering society!
