i enjoyed this story. it made me think about Maori myths and values. i loved the two main characters names, Surprise and Vision. Story reminds me of the power of the gods and nature. We shouldn't muck round with either!!!!

Kia Ora Lili, its choice how you put the poem and video clip on you tube. Well done for such a hard subject. 'Playground Contemplation' could have been written for me reading it helps be get rid of the ache I have carried within for years of not knowing how to express my self.

Wow, I so get this poem. Over the years 1st grade footy players (as well as other top sportsman) in NZ and Oz have gone too far when drinking & partying and we hear about it on the news. The Bull Dogs incident at Coffs Habour is one example - anyway thats what this poem reminds me of. Choice poem!

i LOVE football - but i also appreciate your poem. I agree that top players on big money should also behave themselves off the field. I have a young son and I think about what her sees from the players that do not do the right thing. great poem
