Susan, as one who deals with osteoarthritis (over 10 years now!), I know pain, and I wish others do too, that we are not complaining, but only want relief for our sufferings. Still, despite it, I try to have a good life, and I try not to let it bother me. (Hard though when it's yucky out or am flaring; still, I can always take something to relieve it at least a LITTLE bit!) Very well done, Susan; brava!

A very informative article, Susan; as one who lives with chronic (over 24 years!) pain, this was relevant to my need. Thank you for writing this.
Trouble is, if one has no or little insurance, good luck to them in finding treatment or someone who understands and will be the patient's physician.
