It isn't that God took something away from you - your singing voice - but that He re-routed your 'voice' to another direction - your writing. It's clear by reading this short story that He knew what He was doing...doesn't He always!! It's believable, in a moment of our sadness, that we question Him, but He shall always lead us from our darkness into His Light.
