I totally agree that tomorrow is too late to realize what is so special of this life, whereas today is never too late to get organized and realize the uniqueness of it. And it is always a very good to realize that we should appreciate it because it is gifted to us as a matter of fact that we have never asked for it. All what I can suggest that we should consider that we,humans, are the best creature in this life, so we can do so much better than just getting bored and do nothing. Never give up whatever it happens to you^_^

Perhaps it has more to do with the warmth this year in other regions of the earth. Moisture is drawn up into the atmosphere and it is then driven out to sea and builds up certain weather fronts. Here in Holland it has been so cold this year also, alot more snow compared to the last couple of years. However next year could easily return to warmth again. With the warming up of the earth the chance of storms and unusual weather can occur from the fact that more moisture is driven up into the atmosphere. In Australia we would have such hot weather at times that always at night there would be great thunderstorms, and sudden rain down pours. Parts of the country have had problems this year with flooding, and the other with over excessive heat. All the moisture has to go somewhere, and if it drifts into and joins more cooler climate weather, like parts of Europe in winter it will make things even more cold, especially if there is more chance of rain, which can turn into snow and hail. The more snow and rain, the more cooler the weather conditions, and the longer it will prevail.

The one thing I learned in 62 years is you can't change the weather. This was one of the coldest winters in years. The only thing you can do about it is wear gloves and boots, put up your hood, and stay in doors when ever possible. What puzzles me is, if the artic ice caps are melting, how come the artic fronts coming down here are freezing everything?

for me its a great privilege that i am free to think.

I love the picture of the cat looking into the mirror and seeing a lion! Your advice applies to many situations, especially when we are going into the unknown and getting out of our comfort zone. Is is O.K. to love yourself? Indeed, it is essential to love yourself but the Christian idea of original sin has permeated our social and emotional lives to such an extent that most people believe it is sinful to love yourself. I struggled all my life to like myself, as imperfect as I am, and still struggle daily. I remember what John Lennon said, " I don't believe in....I just believe in me...that's reality." Well I agree with you that words are nothing but labels, and the proponents of grammar and spelling are simply like us who are so creative enough to make rules and arguments. We might have forgotten that when we were still a child and when we need something - a doll, a wagon, a ball, a book, a candy - we do not need to memorize these words, we just simply point them with our fingers, and mom or dad will gladly hand them to us. ;-)

Thankyou for your response. I understand where you are coming from but I still feel that a person's outward ideas and concepts 'directed to' another person's 'ideas' is still an opinion. As for factual information, it stands on its own and does not need to be directed to another in an opinionated way. Thus then it is not opinion, correct. I agree with this.

Excellent points. However, calling everything "opinions" minimizes circumstances that are factual ... and assumes they are controversial. Water consists of hydrogen and oxygen. Calling it an opinion does not change the fact.

Thankyou Alex Dihes for responding to my article. I respect very much your opinion of my wording and take it into account. I understand that your words come from yourself, that perhaps you are dealing with finding answers in yourself, so are bringing this topic across as a statement from your own feelings.
My response to your statement is that I fully intend and still will continue to write 'us'. Even though this is a problem that you are dealing with in my work, it is an issue you will have to deal with inside yourself, because I fully believe that all the answers are inside all of us, and if you do not see this then it is only that you are deciding not to see life in this way for yourself at this time. This does not mean that it is not possible.
We all have the power inside ourselves to choose our own path and way to see life, and also to comment on words of another's work from our own feelings. We all have choice on how to see life, and how to interpret the world around us.
Yes these are my own words, but I fully believe that we all can achieve this, I'm sorry if I have upset you and do not intend it in this way, but this is the main reason why I write is to show that everyone has the answers from within and that life is a perception of the mind.
Please do not take this statement as negative, it is not intended this way but only to present my response to your query.

you use the pronoun US, by that including me into your statement.it is a... sorry, incorrect. i do not have all the answers in me, and i'm SURE NOBODY has had. so i understand the statement is about YOU. thus, you need to change the pronoun US to I. now, because you carry ALL the answers in you, please answer one mine: what is life?
