I have to admit that I didn't know what eschatology was when I saw the title of this book. I really enjoy books about the bible so I had to read it. Eschatology deals with the final events that lead to the second coming of Christ. There are different views that come from the teaching of eschatology. I found the full preterists theory to be very interesting. It's the view that the present world will never end. I think this would be a good book for someone that likes to read books about history.

Eschatology is one of those topics that differing minds can never seem to agree on and Revealing Eschatology deals with that head on. I think author Henry Gagne has put together one of the most thorough books on the topic that allows the reader to draw their own conclusion because of the way the information is laid out.
At first I was kind of overwhelmed by the vast amount of information, but as I began to pick apart arguments I found the references provided a Godsend. Because all of that information was there for me I was better able to read outside the book and research more myself.
For anyone that is looking for a good point of reference on the topic, wants to further their studies in eschatology, or just looking for a good introduction, this is your book.
