Hello Ron,
Thanks for your review of my article 'The Solution to Family Violence and Cruelty'. You state that 'godliness has nothing to do with being a good parent'. Ron you obviously don't believe in the Holy Bible and its teachings so you have me there. However I wonder if you would not agree that love and respect within a family might help to prevent some familial cruelty.

You seem to have poor memory. I recall, while in grade school, that family violence was quite common in our neighborhood. While there was local gossip, and sometimes abuse was placed in the newspapers, it was rampant everywhere, but largely left as "nobody's business."
Today one little incident in my little town of 4 million people gets blown up all over the national news like some kind of epidemic tragedy.
And we can leave godliness out of the picture. There is no evidence that religious belief is necessary for being a good parent. I do recall that many parents left their children in the presence of priests and nuns to be abused and looked the other way up until recently when suddenly the problem was "discovered." Oh, how naïve we are.
