This is a descriptive paragraph of my novel.

How dark it is here; living in this surreal half-life. I feel that there is

no place to go...except into a downward spiral. Life rushes past

me at a sharp, relentless pace. There is no mercy at the steely, cold

grip of fate. It is as if our lives were planned in some meticulous

orchestration of misery. How I have prayed to die, to escape this

grueling and unpredictable saga. I can only hope for some dim light

at the end of this insatiable vortex.  "I will find you," Rachel cried from

that eerie place her soul had traveled to. "Even in death... I will find

you!"
