I celebrate National Poetry Month to honor world renowned poets across the globe and to pay homage to legendry poets who spoke eloquently about the need for freedom and social justice for all races and made it possible to new generation of poets to stand before the nation touching thousands, millions and billions of souls about messages of peace, triumph, struggle, joy, love, hope, poverty, racism, brutality, abuse or survival.
I celebrate National Poetry Month to reflect upon my roots and traditions as a means to enhance and increase my knowledge about the beauty and joy of celebrating
poetry the expression and power of the written and spoken word.
