Tribute To Father
For I see him stand beside me
and everywhere I go
Telling me the do's and don'ts,
and the things that I should know
For the wisdom I am gaining
to be a better man
He's accomplished what he started
I see a happy man
Yet I feel that he's not finished
even tho he's gone
Those things that He has taught me
he wants them passed along
Pass along your wisdom wisely
may your children do the same
Make the world a little brighter
to see what you have gained
The words keep getting stronger
feelings closer to my heart
To learn the meaning of ones love
It's never to late to start
For it's late for me to thank him
face to face it's true I know
For the man who appeared not caring
taught me everything I know
