Short story nuff said.
The rubber slipped off the page Simon Torskin felt the Icy breath of the examiner cascading down his open uniform.
" A slip like that may only be merrited in the pain felt in the heart of our leader is that not so Comerade?"
Torskin frose, to not answer in a manner pleasing his cruel master would result in a beating.
He had been there, he had felt the cold stone floor under his back, the sting of the whip as it lashed his pathetic body to within an inch of life.
He had witnessed others whose skin had burned and sparked in the midnight like a vulgar welding torch held aloft.
If this was freedom Torskin mused then he wished to be caged.
"Is that not so comrade Torskin? "
"Yes that is so Commrade commandant."
"Good Torskin I am glad of your answer."
" I'd hate to think my best student was a capitalist pig."
Torskin cringed Capitalists were the one great enemy of the motherland....... to be continued.
