This doesn't have that "pick up" thing that needs to be there in a movie. I appreciate your writing skills though :) You can be an amazing writer in future someday.
Most fiction is grounded in truth or at least believability. This plot lacks a quality to make it memorable. It would satisfy viewers needs with a twist of redemption, or love conquers all, or a happy, hopeful ending--perhaps all three. That's my take.
