Day to night

Day fades into night

the inky skies pierced with stars

shimmering coldly as the earth winds blow

I think of you

I smile

As the sun will rise tomorrow morning

and sink behind the lonely hills at dusk

So will I think of you

hearts beating the same time

so far apart

good friend

dream me

and I will

you.
