In all the goofiness of trying to get this practice (mine) off the ground, I missed a fair number of Mets games - that's my fave team - always has been...ok, ok....so I was forced once to buy a pink Yankees hat...it was a caved in moment of weakness on a sunny day, what can I say...but I NEVER wear it. Ok, well...once..but now I don't even know where it is. :)
Whatever. Anyway, the loss to the Marlins probably didn't go over very well with the team because, well, their season this year wasn't smokin' hot. BUT despite that, they played well and I will still be a fan since they don't pout or cry around when they lose...in other words, they played the game well and that's what counts.
Besides, the players still get paid and the fans, like me and about a gazillion others, will always watch or attend the games. So...GO METS!
