Studio Reader Stan meets with his agent again.

Studio Reader Stan is in his agent, Mischa Broom�s, office.

Mischa Broom: Congratulations, a hot new producer/director just optioned your script.

Studio Reader Stan: (stunned) Are you serious? Who?!

Mischa Broom: His name�s Petey Broom. He�s the next big thing. You should be very excited.

Studio Reader Stan: That�s terrific� Out of curiosity, though, I did notice he has the same last name as you. Is that just coincidence?

Mischa Broom: No, he happens to be my nephew.

Studio Reader Stan: Uh huh. Is there any chance I�m getting any money out of this?

Mischa Broom: No, I gave him a free option. He now owns the property for five years.

Studio Reader Stan: Five years? Isn�t a year the standard for a free option?

Mischa Broom: Usually. But he�s only 13. This way, when he�s finally done with puberty, he�ll still own the project.

Studio Reader Stan: Don�t I need to sign off on something like that?

Mischa Broom: You did. You signed the contract last week.

Studio Reader Stan: That wasn�t a contract. It was a petition for world peace.

Mischa Broom: I made it into both. And the world thanks you for caring... Now go on and visit Petey. He gets out of camp in an hour.

Studio Reader Stan leaves, dejected once again.
