She references a trend tracked by Jr. Achievement that finds more and more middle and high school students would like to be self-employed at some point.(a 7% increase in 2 years).
Organizations like National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), the Kaufman Foundation and Jr. Achievement have been teaching business skills to children for decades.What makes this particular article interesting is that it shows the media is starting to pick up on the importance of our children learning these essential life skills.
