Excerpt:
Linda got up from the table and I started to gather my
things together when I saw the mysterious guy out of the corner of
my eye heading towards me. Before he could reach the table I
jumped up and bolted towards the staircase and descended taking
two steps at a time. I waved to Linda and pushed the door open and
ran outside. I turned to look behind me and I could see the guy
coming down the stairs through the tinted glass on the night club
door. I turned and started walking towards the car very quickly. I
did not know why I was running, but there was something warning
me not to get involved with this guy. My life was perfect right
now, and I didn’t want to complicate it with a relationship.
When I made it to the car, I tried to put the key in the car door, but
it did not fit. “Oh no, she gave me the wrong key!”
