The Boat

The summer I bought a 1978 MFG 14 foot boat with a 1967 Mercury 50 horse outboard motor I had nothing but problems. The first time I tried to put it in the water the boat sank because I didn't know I had to put a plug in the back of it to keep it a float. The second time I tried to put the boat into the water it would not start because the battery was dead. The third time when I drove with the boat over a pothole, the boat's hitch popped off and the boat and trailor hit the back of my new transport van. The fourth, I had my friend who knows a lot about boats help me put it into the water, but when it finally started the water pump was broke. The water pump is necessary for cooling off the engine. The engine would overheat without the water pump. I still don't have this boat in the water.
