Johnny's baby brother is home from the hospital, and Johnny is happy about it. He also writes about the Olympics and how other members of his family are doing.

Dear Jouraal~
I am happy to report that my baby brother, Arjun, is finally home from the hospital! He was in for about a week and a half, and he was very sick; but he is doing much better now. He had a respiratory virus that caused him to have severe difficulty in breathing, and they had to give him oxygen and medication. Now he is breathing MUCH easier, but he still has to take the medication the doctors gave to him, and he has to be on oxygen until he is stronger. Mommy and daddy also have to make sure that he is kept away from any chances of getting any bugs because his lungs are still a little weak yet.
I have misseed Arjun terribly. I missed his happy nature, and I missed his sitting right next to me as we watched videos together or when I read to him. He is such a happy baby, and everything is such a big adventure for him. It is exciting to watch him discovering the world about him!
I have been doing good with my OWN health. I haven't had too many trouble with seizures or unexpected brething difficulties ('course, the oxygen DOES help!), and I really haven't had any more weakness (what is normal for me; some days are worse than others, and I just have to adapt accordingly). I pray and hope that this trend continues! Three's nothing worse than finding out you are getting weaker or needing more in the way of help!
Maman has been busy working and taking care of us. She also has been trying to get her emails answered which is a big laugh: she writes to over 20 people on a regular basis; as soon as she gets one ansewred, there comes another one! It's like she can't keep up! ARRGGH!! LOL Daddy has been working too, but lately his back has been bothering him. Nothing new in that department: daddy has had two back surgeries, and it has only had minimal success. He is still having pain and still has to walk on crutches to take some of the weight off his back and siatic nerve. He also has days where he is depressed (the pain in his back doesn't halp any; maman keeps telling him to go to the doctor, but daddy won't; I guess he likes to be in pain; I don't know!).
Maman has found out that a friend of hers, Sari, is working at the WInter Olympics in Torino, Italy! I didn't know anything about it, but now we know why we haven't heard from Sari. Sari sometimes calls us all the way from Finland, where she lives, and she hasn't called maman in over a week and a half now. We got an email from her, and she was saying that she was working at the Olympics. COOL! (I hope she gets us some cool souvenirs from the games! Maybe she could even snag a GOLD MEDAL for us! :) That'd be too sweet! :) )
Ronee' has been doing well: she is still watching "Americna Idol". I personally don't see what she sees in that show! That show is sooo stupid!! She has been doing well with her own health, and she's been like a new person since getting off her crutches! (She is using two canes!) She hasn't had any flares or asthma attacks; life for her is peachy-keen!
Well, I will go now; I have to get ready for bed. I have school tomorrow. I will write in here again. I am sorry if I don't have anything more exciting to tell you, but this is about all that is new with me and my family. Take care!
