A teenage boy is bullied by his classmates. This is his story.

It's no fun being on my end.

If I hear any more bullying, I think I will go mad.

I have been called just about every name in the book.  Just because I don't belong to any particular group doesn't mean I should be made fun of.  I wish the terrible kids would just leave me alone and let me do as I want.

Name's Danny, but everyone 'round school knows me more by my nickname: "Dump Boy".  Guess they think that because I'm fat, unpopular, and somewhat of a loner, then I can be their own personal punching bag.

Well, I have news for them.  One of htese days they're gonna go too far and I won't be responsible for my actions.  I have had more than enough of their teasing!!

It doesn't help that I am poor and happen to live in government housing.  I can't afford the nice looking clothes: I wear my older brother's hand-me-downs and some of them look rather shabby.  While I am grateful to have clothes to wear to school, I wish I had something much nicer!

The teachers have repeatedly tried to get the bad kids to stop teasing me, but it hasn't really worked, no, not really.  It's a pain having to hear them jerring me day after day after day!  Sometimes it gets so bad I end up getting stomach aches and I have to go to the nurse to lie down 'til my nerves calm down somewhat.

On other days, I go home in tears.  My mom and my dad have talked to the principal about my problem, but as I said, it hasn't really done a bit of good.  I still get teased as much as I did.  Nothing has really changed.

Well, I have homework to do, so I'd best go and do it.  I will write in here again.  Until later, this is Danny Ruiz saying so long!

~Danny (aka "Dump Boy").

~To be continued.~

It's a terrible thing to be bullied and there has to be a way to get through to those who do it. Too bad they can't live like you for a week. It's sad for others to have to be treated this way.
