Mistletoe here. I finally have some time to write. Santa has been making impossible demands of us again. Guess we met his specifications, so he, THE Jolly Elf himself, allowed us a 2-hour lunch break.
Sa-WEET!!
We have been working practically nonstop since the day after Thanksgiving. More and more demands from all the good little boys and girls, but alas: their demands are becoming more of a challenge. Instead of the typical toy dollie, car, truck, or ball, kids today seem to want more expensive items: items like iPods, Wii, Atari, or Gameboy gaming systems, tvs, cell phones, COMPUTERS ... +Sigh+ Life was much more simpler back then, when I was only a tiny Elfin child ...
That was over 160 years ago. ...

Sorry if I had to go, but some dumb elf set off the sprinkler systems and the fire alarm. The toys and other gifts nearly got ruined; it was a miracle that they weren't. I think it might have been Pixie; I saw Pixie running out the door right as the fire alarm went off. He had a look of utter hilarity on his small face.
Pixie has been a thorn in our side: he is nothing but a mischief-maker who enjoys nothing more than causing mayhem and excitement. I think he likes to see how far he can push Santa's buttons.
Santa was NOT amused.

Rudolph is sick. Upset tummy. He got into some pickled apples and now he's been throwing up practically nonstop. Santa is plenty worried: if he doesn't stop soon, he might have to take him to the Reindeer Clinic For Sick And Injured Deer to see what's going on. I am most concerned about him; I've never seen Rudolph this ill. ...

Rudolph is feeling a little better, but not much ... we're gonna have to keep a very close eye on him. If he throws up again, he will more than likely be admitted. I hope not; I don't want him to be in the Reindeer Hospital for Christmas ... that would just suck! Who would lead Santa's sleigh lest a blizzard or fog were to come about? That would spell disaster for all the kiddies!! And worse, Christmas could be cancelled.
Oh, the injustice of it all! :(
December 12, 2011~
Yesterday, Santa let us watch a Christmas Cantata on the WWCN (World Wide Choir Network); it was being broadcast from Texas. The church was in Burleson; the choir sounded like angels. I was especially impressed with this little female who stood in the front row. She had a headful of wild, curly hair and wore glasses on her face and was on crutches, but she sang like an angel. She looked like she was having fun!
This little lady should have sung a solo: she had such a beautiful high soprano voice!
Well, I gotta go. Santa wants us to go back to work. UGH! I will write in here probably before Christmas IF I have time! I will talk to you later; until then, this is Mistletoe saying so long!
