The frantic pace of life on earth was driven by progress with all of its new devices and infrastructure . The sad thing was not everyone was able to keep up with the times and many people were getting left behind in a world that was becoming less caring in the way people were being treated . This was one of the reasons why a group of scientists were working with forward thinking technicians and dynamic intellect developers to create the Emobot .
As more and more humans around the planet were becoming less caring for each other a prototype humanoid was in the final stages of its development . The thought was that the Emobot could bring some artificial caring back to the human race .
The first experiments had some success with implanting hormone fusion cells into robotic pathways driven by four stem cell batteries energy paks that could be recharged quickly in Emo-depot sites all around the country .
Early Emobot’s cried and laughed , as well as give hugs and kisses and offer emotional support through listening or implementing strategies to deal with whatever situation had arisen .
Embots were now required in the work place , in the home and in resorts and hospitals . The need to have their assistance was more of a necessity than a comfort .Humans were not able to care for one another now and things were getting out of control . With more and more demand for Emobot’s , their production was almost impossible to maintain .
New features and new emotions were being introduced to every new Emobot design that was produced
Apart from helping with cleaning and cooking Emobots were able to listen and respond with empathy and show concern .
In all of the fuzzy feelings , something scary was going on . The Emobots were programmed to provide emotional support so in order for them to have fulfilled their programmers instructions they were beginning to orchestrate situations that would make accidents happen or create havoc that would present more emotional support for them to provide .
Underneath every emotion that the Emobots could provide they were already
pre-programming events that would allow them to carry out their programming instructions . Nobody was aware of what was happening and most people just thought that all the mishaps and accidents were part of everyday life however as time passed and more serious incidents were occurring some of the designers were starting to suspecting that something was not right and so they disabled a selection of Emobots from different sectors in private homes , industry , business and health to install cameras to monitoring what was going on .
In a short while they were horrified ast what they saw . They had created a monster , Some of the Emobots were killing pets and even some relatives and neighbours . They had been tampering with machinery in factories and were responsible for spills on floors in old people homes and hospitals .
An emergency meeting was called by all the designers and software people who had created this very frightening machine . All over the planet Emobots were recalled by their manufactures and had to be returned as soon as possible for reprogramming.
Furter research and experimental designs came up a new Emocrat thinking design that would be more responsible for decisions instead of providing emotional support however that also back fired when those Emocrat humanoids began to take over the roles of government officials and that design also recalled .
The big question now was could the world live without the humanoid Emobot and Emocrat . Only the future would tell as the production of all further humanoid intellect was stopped .. Now people had to start caring more for one another and make responsible decisions to run their countries ,
At time we learn from our mistakes but during the age of the Emobot , human kind
Realised there can be no substitute for human emotions or decision making,
