had to add one more chapter.
original idea and story .....

Apollo was returned to Starbuck and Boomer he tried to stay strong but wanted to collaspe on the brig floor .' How are you two doing ? ' all he'd asked standing examining the brig thinking of a way out of it , the torture they used was effective too say the least both Starbuck and Boomer were strong will and probably able to withstand whatever they'd did but Apollo didn't want neither of them to find out .

Spock found his way out to the corridors of this duplicate Enterprise his Vulcan memory was still intact and he was please too .

' He was to his great surprise alone but never alone,'

Spock was beginning to pick up on one human habit when in danger he felt it was necesarry to sing .And Spock had too thank McCoy for that one day if he'd lived through this .But he now saw the brig and a single guard guarding it which surprised Spock  .

He thought Tiberius was a man that never took chances .Spock slowly approached the brig and saw the three humans there .Two of them one was Starbuck, the other Boomer were silently trying to tell Spock to stay back, but he didn't understand .What were they trying to tell him . It was too late Spock could not move ,

' We tried to tell you,'

Starbuck told him a cigar in his mouth but not lit . Spock only raised an eyebrow .He could not move a forcefield was holding him .

had more ideas ,sorry readers....part nine will be the last part .
