The pumpkin sat in the window and waited like so many others too. It smiled but it had no choice but to smile .It was made that way.The day grew on as hours passed.Night was soon cast over everybody including this house where this pumpkin sat .The pumpkin smiled it had no choice to .

Suddenly the cat came by , the cat that live in this house too and it started scratching it's back against the pumpkin but suddenly the cat coughed and choked,' Meow .' The cat left instead .

Something felt funny inside the pumplin .' Ewwww a hairball , I hate cats .'

The pumpkin's face suddenly changed from a that of a smile too a sad expression .How was that possible even ? The pumpkin could not at all change unless a person decided too .' I'm glad Halloween isn't a weekly event and it only comes once a year I don't think I could put up with that cat more then that .'
