Suddenly there was silence from Commander Seinke as he seem to be suddenly quiet as the Romulans were watching something else that drew their interest not the Enterprise .Their attention was diverted.

' Mr. Spock sensor readings please ? '

' Captain there is a large ship just astern of us and their hailing us too .' Spock reported and touched the science station display console . Then from her communications console then  Lieutenant Uhura nodded and there was a new voice that was coming through over the bridge speakers .Everybody listened carefully .

' Federation Earth  vessel do not fear this is the Klingon battlecruise Apexe we'd our on your side those Romulan scum will leave you alone now .You now too  have a new alley Captain and the Klingons wished too joined the Federation and the Romulans have something new too think about .' His voice was heard through the Enterprise .

The bridge crew cheered but the cheering did not last .
