Jeff decided that he needed too get back to his own time and help Amelia resume her flying too become the legend she'd would be one day .They took what was left of her plane and seeing that the lightning storm in fact was the cause of their stay here they decide to take apart Amelia's plane and escape by way of a raft or small boat .

' Igenious idea,' Jeff told her as they finished the boat or raft overhead the lightning storm continued and it seemed to get more intense as they tried to leave the island .They gathered food and water and clothing and began leaving the island but as they'd just got off the island too the waves got rougher, suddenly before both knew it they saw the waters spinning ahead of them .

' A whirlpool,' Jeff cried out .Both of them hung onto whatever they could and Amelia looked up , very odd the lightning storm was gone but now this whirlpool was here she knew that was strange indeed .They knew it was no use in struggling compared to this whirlpool their boat was in fact a tiny toy boat compared to the whirlpool itself .

 ' It was a pleasure to know you Ms. Earhart something I hope I could tell my grandchildren about one day .'

He smile at her .Amelia reassured him he would and Jeff lean over and kissed her .She kissed him back and she hoped they would survive this because she like Jeff and she'd knew she wanted more from him .Waves pounded their boat and they held each other's hand .Amelia smiled at Jeff as she tried to reassure him they would make it alive .

' We're not dead yet Jeff you will .'

Both were strong and she'd knew that but even the strong can be feared by the littlest creature like a spider or the nastiest of storms but she too knew that they would have to struggle to survive this .She hope that they would anyways .
