'  Time ? ' I then asked then looking at my friend and partner Abby Lawton. For days now the world was watching events unfolding,a signal from deep space had been received all over the planet ,everywhere everyone heard it too ,Abby looked at her watched as we sat before wall size monitor screens that were focussed on the very edge of our solar system where the signal was coming from, at first it was thought the new planet that was now our tenth planet in our system was the origin of the signal,but no .
 

' Two days then since we intercepted the signal,' Abby told me ,' We should get another signal soon according to the source of the signal .' I couldn't but notice the excitement she was feeling and I was too,first contact from an alien race from beyond the solar system ,were they friends or foes no one knew ,and too then not even we have come in peace or whatever .We then too then  just only got images then  from space the stars where the life form was suppose to be from and so on .And that  then was it . I then had been at the place where I worked as a scientist for fifteen years now using radio transmissions then ,and then also  telescope signals or conventionel tv transmissions and this was the only time we got an answer back . Someone heard us . 

Now then we just waited .But after fifteen years  I didn't want too wait any more either , I was in my forties and not getting younger Abby was then the youngest on the team, only twenty five . She made the rest of us feel old,veterans as she called us .
