The vine then  fascinated me so
much that I started back home and
returned with a shovel and other tools
to help me find out how far it would go
,the weekends were free for me so in
that time I would use to work on Run Rot .

My life had its meaning now its calling so to
speak, I would be determined in my youth to
find out how deep it really was.though the top
of the tree fascinated me still.

It was summer so no school was on my mind
,days were hot but as I keep pointing out I was
young anything I could handle or cope with .

Even nights I would spend out here digging and
cutting, some times there be small animals I see
like a mouse or squirrel they didn't scare me or
bother me the bigger animals that I was not to fond
of,like snakes or bears or wolves .

I did discover one thing as I worked on Run Rot it
made me never give up,keep on trying no matter
how much you fail. I was already feeling my youth
by the time summer was half way over .

I continued digging .
