a duplicate was like a copy of the original person
no one could know how precise a duplicate was but they would go and take the place of important men and women that were in charge of the country,men like the President for example ,if a situation were getting to involve with him or her,then the President would be taking out of action and then replace by his duplicate .Then after the same one situation was over the duplicate would be put in freezer unit and stayed there until needed again.
A freezer unit was like suspended animation but it could be controlled so a duplicate was needed they could unfreeze it. Sam Tpol for example was a newspaper reporter and now he was on the verge of turning in a story that would sake the city he lived in to its core,Sam had discovered the mob in this city was in fact behind a smuggling ring that included cocaine and other drugs too, but he wasn't feeling safe,so he knew of the Duplicate agency and called them for help, Sam to needed a break in his story and too confirm a theory that he had about the smuggling ring ,Sam was not rich but he was well off ,he had just had enough money to buy a Duplicate and get out of town .Sam was not going to give this story up ,not this one.
