They knew they were all set once the Moon reach the highest peek in the sky,it was clear sky no stars could be seen just the fullness of the Moon .They were there in the clearing by the pond and even the night creatures like the bat did not go near them,they ugly beasts that only came out at night they look like a wart or pig that but they stood like a man,they were not werewolves vampires skeletons or mummies that went bump in the night or look for food then,there were three of them,they had names and like pigs they live in the ground and their eyes were small that's why they hated the sun,no nose or ears a mouth yes a big one teeth too,their teeth could bite through the bark of a tree,there were very few in fact each generation they only came out once because Man would hunt them,kill them for their teeth like trophies.They were not old they had strength.
Water they needed after every hunt but the hunt lasts days even they like rabbits squirrels or gophers small animals no humans except once by accident an ancenster of theirs caught a little boy caught by a mean pig or wart hog he was hungry instead of letting the boy go the pig ate him,he left his skull where he found him,another mystery for the humans they seemed to like those.
The night continued after all it was the night before Halloween and all creatures of the night came out too play.end
