Unhindered Glory

Reverence filled the room, with an unusual awe of uncertainty. The crowd hushed their whispers, as they looked up towards the pulpit’s chorus. With one voice, the sweet sound of music, blended in with majestic harmony, as it was trumpeting throughout the temple.

Yet, there seemed to be something missing, something out of sync. Quickly glancing around, thoughts began to wander, drifting off. Thinking of tasks that still needed to be completed and wondering how life’s many problems, would get resolved.

Startled, by the rapid change of rhythm from the percussions, focus is regained and reflections are once again brought to the immediate purpose of praise. Remembering the deeds done and the needs already met, unhindered glory is given to the only one who alone, is worthy.

Standing upon the feet that had been instantly healed and lifting up holy hands, with tears streaming down, a testimony is uttered. Magnifying His Name, along with those who were also giving thanks nearby. Worship is rendered.

The Cloud of His Presence enters the Sanctuary, gracing each aisle, extending mercy down every pew, saving souls and mending wounded hearts. With one accord, His Spirit rains down, bestowing gifts that will equip His Saints to defeat opposing forces. Everyone is strengthened, as The Word is imparted. Unity is restored to the Body of Christ.
