There was that feeling again, my heart ready to jump from my chest cavity and fall to the floor in panic. Staring over at this human, dressed in a black suit and tie with his hair neatly positioned in a 60's manner. He let out a mighty grin as he placed his hand towards me.

Falling into his arms a great release left as though I had been holding onto three years worth of anguish and hurt. All it took was one person who wanted the best for me, someone who cherished every inch of my being and held my soul in grip of his true , undeniable love. Who would have known that somebody as emotionally distraught and damaged as me could find a person who would want to find all of the broken pieces.
The first day we met I still remember the sweat forming in the palm of my hands and squishing as I tried to wipe it away quick enough. He had happened to be purchasing the last bottle of wine that I ached for that night, kindly passing me it with a smile, I offered to share a glass jokingly. He blushed at the idea, passing me his business card in awe of my invitation. It was short but sweet and oh my did I anticipate calling him.
I hadn't felt that nervousness before and after three years recovering the abuse I was out of practise.
He didn't care about the emotional scars I wore so evidently, paranoid of his touch and his love he gently took his time to learn about me. He proudly shown me affection that healed over open wounds within.
When our eyes met, the damaged woman had found love.
Very true Ron, it is an ideal situation for many but the root always starts with the love you have for yourself. I truly believe when you have mastered the love of self your expectation of finding love will ease into realistic ideals.
I don't know if this is true or fiction, but it is the classic kind of fairytale that most would wish to happen in their lives. Some do and some don't.
