The inspiration for this week's strip has to do with how Hollywood is populated by so many independent film producers, several of whom are extremely shady and have no love for movies whatsoever. Their only goal is making money. Since I've run into my share of them, the Sami Ginzle character is a composite of all the ones I've met.
