I just returned from a wonderful First Anniversary with my husband and I've been floating on Cloud 9. I thought maybe it was time to return to earth but today I received some absolutely wonderful news...I am featured in the Thursday (June 7) NY Times on Thursday.
A couple of months ago, a NY Times Writer was doing a search on menopause and, like finding a needle in a haystack, came across my name so she looked me up and found me. She actually told me she went to authorsden.com and that's how she was able to find my articles. She then contacted authorsden.com, who sent me an email to let me know the NY Times writer was trying to reach me.
We did the initial interview in April. Her Editor had some problems with the story she submitted so she went back to the drawing board a FEW times and just informed me that the story is now a GO.
As someone who's been in the media, I know firsthand how they can take what you say in a LONG interview and chop it up into one or two sentences. But that's OK...it still is an answer to a prayer!
