I sat there wishing that someone could be there to comfort me. I knew that by letting go I would get everything that divine providence was trying to bless me with. Doing this required me to let go of the mate of my soul, even though I had just found him.

 I had met Wayllan two years ago under unusual circumstances. We met at a spiritual convention. He was the most handsome man I had ever seen. He was about five feet,eleven inches tall with a medium brown complexion, beautiful eyes and was very distinguished looking. Of his features, his mustache was my favorite. 

Wayllan was a well-known author, respected teacher and an inspirational speaker. I was at a book signing and people were standing in line waiting to say hello to him. I stood patiently to greet him as well. Most of his work was familiar to me and I had seen him several times. at such events as these. 

As I approached him, our eyes locked in a gaze. "Hi. My name is Mariann. I adimire your work. I've attended many of your lectures and book signings hosted by Wayllan Publishers, but I never had the chance to actually meet you. So! I would like to formally introduce myself." He looked at me and said, "What took you so long?" Those five words spoken at that moment had a profound effect on me. He and I looked at each other and realized in an instant our souls were connected. Our eyes said welcome home.

I have  discoverd in my own experiences that there are several ways of identifying your soul mate. One way might be recognizing something spoken that holds a profound meaning for you. Another may be eyes that speak volumes or a jovial laugh that triggers a memory. Those five words Wayllan spoke to me, along with his ability to look deep within me, gave me a sense of peace and love. This was how I knew my soul mate had arrived

. But, with this wonderful feeling of love and joy, surfaced a tinge of fear and some erroneous beliefs. I reminded myself that the past is not the future and that the present is right now. I have learned to allow myself to be present and aware of the here and now; I have come to know that destiny is supporting me. This time it was to connect with my soul mate. I also believe that when we are clear within our souls, we will be eager to meet physically with our soul mate. Then somewhere, somehow, sometime on the physical plane this will happen.

Did I mention that although I found my soul mate that I had to let him go? How sad! After that brief encounter, Wayllan and I didn't communicate for a while. The longer time went on and the more distance grew between us, the more this horrible feeling of anxiousness came over me. I could feel the heaviness of Wayllan's spirit as well. I began to pray and meditate several times a day to calm my emotions. Nothing seemed to settle me down. Then I contacted the Prayer Tower.

The prayer counselor there prayed with me, never asking me for a prayer request. She somehow knew to pray for my emotional peace.One part of her prayer stood out, letting me know that God had interceded. She said, "Divine Spirit, redirect these two hearts back to each other." At that exact moment I felt a beautiful sense of love come over me. The beautiful love I felt for Wayllan.

Shortly after that, Wayllan called me and we talked. After speaking with him, I received a wonderful revelation on love. I realized that it takes only a small amount of caring to establish a realtionship. Love is outreaching. It must stem from within us in order to take root. Love is genuine; it makes you want to cross boundaries and take risks. The heart is what moves the spirit. Love is love of self, love of others or anything in nature. It is the explosive ecstay feit when a realtionship is new and fresh and full of energy. Love is pasion that gives birth to the muse, to ideas that make a realtionship flourish. The soul love I'm expereiencing is a gift from God! 

A couple of months passed and I hadn't heard from Wayllan. I continually thought of him. The desire to see him grew more intense everyday. I realized the hinderance I perceived in our realtionship was only an illusion. when it came to that space in time for he and I to be together, all it took was the desire to unite. The hinderances, doubts and false beliefs were overcome as I accepted what I was feeling. I had a focused determination to be with Wayllan.

As I kneeled in prayer, I experienced a stillness that came with total silence. A calming effect was present as all my energetic thoughts and emotions settled. I heard a message of love that said, "To experience the highest love is an inspiration, a gift only divine love can give. You have received it, so honor this.

 Wayllan and I did come together. Now we both agree that when your whole being yearns and burns to be with the mate of your soul, your chance of that glorious joining posseses unlimited power.
