Yesterday was the best July 4th I've experienced in years! David and I got up early and went to the Unionville 4th of July Celebration. The music was fabulous an I was reunited with several of my old friends from different ministry opportunities over the years. It was good to see them all!
We left the event around noon and I came home to a garden full of fresh vegatables. So, I got really creative and combined the okra, squash, onions and potatoes in a skillet and sauteed in olive oil. This mix of veggies was incredibly tasty, especially with a slice of fresh tomato alongside the plate.
This morning as I recalled how delicious those vegetables were mixed together, I was gently reminded that so are we! As Christian brothers and sisters, we are so much better together. Yesterday was proof of that point and I definitely enjoyed a hearty mix!
"Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another and working together with one heart and purpose."
