Nobody believed me. They will have to admit I wasn't lying.

 Hospital II

I was taken to the Hospital’s Psychiatric Unit. A psychiatrist came to see me and said that he wanted to speak with me in his bureau where there would be too a psychiatrist’s team. I had a lively conversation with them about my visit to Fuerza Nueva’s headquarters. They listened my story, how I came into the room where they had their machine guns and guns, insulting the father of the dummy king, the three founders of the fascist Fuerza Nueva, to whom I even pointed out the three with my finger and called them by their names, how I treated all the henchmen there. The psychiatrist and the team didn’t believe my story, didn’t believe I had treated them all like puppets. I told them my saying to Clementina to take as much cocaine as she wanted. I told them the fascists had joined up at their headquarters ready to kill me that very night.

That day by night we were back at her flat. That day I asked Clementina if I could crash out in there because I was very tired. She showed me a bed and I lay down on the bed. She then tied my hands up at my back and I told her she had me manacled. Don’t worry, she said. Alejandra is coming now. Alejandra came and we lied on the bed together. My big girl friend Alejandra got pregnant and announced to me she would leave her sister’s flat and go to live somewhere else.

Are you not an obssessed with sex?, the psychiatrist asked to me. Well, I said, I don’t think I am an obssessed with sex. Just simply to know that sex is too something in mind nearly all the time, I said later. Many people live moved by the urgent necessity of having satisfaction, of having sex, pleasure and good humour. Don’t you think it is like I say?, I asked. Well, he said, it seems you are the psychiatrist. Why do you think everyone say that you invented the stories you tell and your reactions were just delirium? It’s not a lie. I swear it’s not. I suspect they said that for envy. They sure thought I had had these experiences. The psychiatrist laughed and said So they are envious, and we laughed jovially.

Your stories are a bunch of bull… but I enjoy them, sometimes, anyway.

PS. Of the few schizophrenics I've come in contact with during my long life, I found them all very creative because they don't think blandly like normal people, but with an urgency that belies comprehension.
