laughed,he was talking about Marion the girl
from down the road that helped Robin after he
tried to pick an apple from a neighbors tree in
fact didn't succeed at it at all. 

' He'll recover thankyou for helping him home
Marion, glad Robin got to know some new kids
at school here,hasn't been easy moving losing
his father in that bloody war over there .'
 

' I know thats why I live with my uncle ,' she said
fixing the cold cloth on Robin's forehead who was
now recovering just fine .
 

' Yes Richard I like him.'
 

' Thankyou,it's saturday you know,would you mind
if I talk with Robin awhile I don't want to go home
yet,my uncle went on yet another crusade of his .'
 

' Is he o.k. ? '
 

' Yea my grandfather was the same,all the men in
my family must think they need to be brave or so-
mething to have a woman like them,`I thought this
was the twenty first century .'
 

' It is Marion,' she said starting too leave the room,
But remember every man has an ego and he needs
to tame that ego in by doing what he would think of
as being a brave or noble act .' 
 

Closing the door behind her Marion smiled at Robin
who sat up now but was still hurting .He reached into
a shirt pocket and pulled out a shiny red apple ,smili-
ng he gave it too Marion. 
 

' I told you I get it for you,' said Robin .She leaned to
Robin and kissed him on his forehead.If he had gotten
a kiss from his mother it would had been just that just
another kiss,from Marion,and being eight and naturally
curious about girls,a kiss from Marion was awesome .
