Dear Louisiana:
This is Jenna; thanks for writing to me so quickly! It is always good to hear from you; and I loved the picture you used for your letter to me. That picture was awsome! Where DID you find that picture? That looks like the lake just up the way from us, just outside the city limits!
I am doing as well as can be expected, but I am still recovering, and I am still having to rest a lot. It seems that the surgery, and then the staph infection, really did a number on me. I am still weak, and I still tire so easily; it doesn't seem to take all that much to tire me out! Michael is doing well; he is in the livingroom, watching the women's gymnastics team compete. They are favored to win a medal; but how they did, I have no idea. Do you have any idea of how they fared in the competition? If so, please do let me know! Meanwhile, I am sitting in my chair, in the bedroom, typing this (one handed, as per usual; it just takes me so darn long to do! OY!) sorry excuse of a letter to you! LOL
I am sorry to hear about "Ginger", Johnny's dog, being in the hospital, but I am glad to hear that she will be home tomorrow. I am sure you all miss her, and I am sure that little Johnny is a lost soul without her! I would be a lost soul without "Aurora"; she keeps me warm at night, when we go to bed, and she is such a cuddlebug! She loves sleeping next to me, and I love the feel of her warm, soft, furry body next to mine! Only bad thing about "Aurora" is that she snores; she snores worse than Michael at times! You should hear them; it almost sounds like a competition! LOL If they ever had an Olympics for snoring, I don't know WHO would win the gold medal: both Michael and "Aurora" would have an equal shot at the gold medal with their snoring! LOL
I was also sorry to hear that Ronee' broke her arm yesterday. What exactly happened? Did she fall? I hope it wasn't anything serious; that kid has had a rough time of it lately, hasn't she? (Hmmm...sounds familiar; seems I have had a rough time of it too! Maybe little Ronee' is taking "Jenna lessons"! LOL) I hope that Ronee' feels better soon, and I hope that she isn't in a cast for TOO long! How is she going to get around if she is in a cast? She can't very well walk on just one crutch! Maybe she will have to use her chair, like she did last year, when she had her knee surgery! Tell Ronee' that I hope she feels better soon, and tell her that maybe I will send her a little something! Same with Johnny; he seems like he could use some cheering up too! Heard that he has been down in the dumps too, poor little guy!
How is the weather down there in the Outside? Hope it isn't too hot or unbearable there! Here it is delightful: partly sunny with fluffy, friendly clouds traversing our skies, really pleasant temps, with highs in the 60's, and lows in the 40's. The auroras have started earlier than normal, and they have been spectacular, and they are only supposed to get more so in the coming weeks. If you would like, maybe I will have Michael take some pictures of the auroras, and he can send you copies. Would you like that? Let me know, okay?
Michael has just about the last of the wedding details finalized. Yes, we are still getting married, so don't you worry! LOL And yes, our wedding is still going to be held at Vermillionville in Lafayette, on September 11, 2004! The family is getting excited at meeting me, and they are looking forward to meeting y'all too! (I DO hope you still plan on going to the wedding; after all, you ARE going to be IN it, as part of our wedding party! LOL) I just hope and pray that nothing bad happens that day; ONE September 11, 2001, is more than enough! :(
Well, Louie, I have to run (can you see ME doing THAT? I am NO Olympic champion, that is for darn sure; I would more than likely win the TIN medal! LOL), have to use the potty! Will have to interrupt Michael, or else there is going to be a flood in Anchorage....Darn ole bladder is on the blink again! I will write more later!
