Dear Ronee':
I am so happy you are feeling better! That is wonderful news!
Thank you for writing; it is always good to hear from you again! Are you back in school yet? I bet your teacher and your classmates missed you!
How are you doing today? I am doing okay, probably as good as I will ever be, I guess. I still can't use my one hand, and I am having to do just about everything one-handed, or else Michael helps me whenever I run into difficulty! We are back in Alaska now; and it is so nice to be home! I missed our apartment, and I missed the Alaskan scenery, and I missed seeing the Northern Lights! I also missed the coolness of the Alaskan weather, and I missed the mountains and cool, crisp, clean air. Fall is most definitely here; and it won't be long before the first snowflakes start flying! How is the weather down there? Have the tress started changing into their fall wardrobe yet?
I heard from your mama, and she wrote to me; I have to write her yet. I know she has been working a lot of extra hours because of Genevieve's husband being sick and all; but I am sure that she will love her paychecks! I will write to her soon; tell her I will do so sometime this weekend! She is such a special lady, and you are so lucky to have her for your mama!
Your neighbor, Mrs. Johnson, sounds like she has her hands full with Opry and Jackie! She sure is a wonderful woman to take care of you while your mama is at work! And I am sure that her kids are good too~ Sorry to hear of Opry's health problems, but glad he is getting along better! He sounds like he must be a handsome young man, from the way you described him!
How is your kitten? You DO have a cat, right? What is his name, and what does he look like? I know your mama was telling me that for a long time you couldn't have a cat because of your asthma and breathing problems, but now you have a cat. Do you still have problems with your asthma or your breathing whenever you are around your kitty? I bet your kitty is pretty! How does your kitty feel about the dogs and other animals around your house? You must have an interesting house, what with all the kids and animals running about! LOL
Well, dear Ronee', I will let you go. I just wanted to write to let you know that I was thinking of you and how much I miss seeing your sweet smiling face! I love you with all my heart, and I hope you are feeling better soon!
