A true police story about a drunk driver, a traffic accident, and the tragedy that followed. I was the Sergeant on duty, the shift supervisor, when the accident happened,and was second officer at the scene.
This story has been published in an anthology of true police stories entitled True Blue: Police Stories by Those who have Lived Them. The book is available thru Amazon.com. All the contributing authors donated their stories, and all proceeds from sales of the book go to a fund for the families of Officers that lost their lives during the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

I agree with you on this subject and it is part of the reason why I am writing I'm No Stranger To The Rain. My brother returned from Korea in the fifties but was killed by a drunk driver. Forever 21 and I have seen first hand how many of these drunks get away with murder. Keep up the good work.
