Dear Louisiana~
Hi! Thanks so much for writing back to me; it was so nice to hear from you again! I am sorry to hear of your needing back surgery next week; I pray nothing but the angels' protection over you as you have your back surgery, and I pray that God watches out over you too! I pray and hope that this is what you need, and I hope and pray that your surgery is a rousing success!
I was happy to hear that your second book was accepted for publication, I will have to read that too. Is it another book about your family? Or is it about something else? Is it fiction or nonfiction?? I am a reader beyond compare; my wife, Minka, is always calling me a bookhound or a bookworm! LOL Seems I always have my nose in a book when we aren't taking care of our large family! LOL
It is beautiful here: temps in the upper 70's to lower 80's, partly cloudy. How is the weather up there in Music City U.S.A.? Hope it is as delightful there as it is here! I am sitting here on the chaise lounge, watching the kids play in the yard, and I am typing this on my laptop and sippin' an iced tea. YUM! My wife is piddling around in her garden, and she is watering her flowers. My wife loves flowers; she always has, ever since I have first known her! Our yard looks like a veritable nursery, what with all the flowers we have! LOL
Well, Louisiana, you asked if we worked, or if we were "homebodies", as you put it. I work (I work at a factory, I work in a GM assembly plant), but my wife is a homeschooling instructor/domestic engineer; she stays home with the kids, and she really enjoys it. I have lived all my life here in the South Miami, Florida, area, but my wife is originally from Russia; she came to the States when she was a teenager, and I met her at a bar; and we fell in love immediately! She loved my witty charm, and I loved her model's build and her beautiful, grey-blonde hair and wide, grey eyes! I also adored her Russian accent; it made her sound so...exotic! I still adore it even now! :)
When we aren't at our jobs or raising our brood, we love to go on cruises once or twice a year. We have been doing this for since we have gotten married (we have been married going on 19 years now!), and some of the places we have been to include Aruba, the Carribean, the Bahamas, the Grand Cayman Islands, Cozumel, and Alaska. Have you ever been on a cruise? If not, you should do so; there is nothing more exhillerating than going on this huge boat and "sailing the ocean blue", as they say! They have more food than you can possibly imagine, and there is just so much to do and see on a cruise! You ought to consider taking one; it'd be a great opportunity to see places you have never been to, and it is a perfect opportunity to get away from the children! :)
Well, Louie, I know this isn't long, but Cotter is crying again; seems that Aurora took away his radio again, and I will have to chase her so I can get it back...those two are always fighting, it seems! When will they ever learn??...
