Dear Anna Grace~
Hi! Thanks for writing; it is good to hear from you again!
It is so nice to have maman home from the hospital, but she is still pretty limited in what she can do until her back heals (and until she gets the back brace off and also off the walker). But she is surprisingly not in a lot of pain (that is, unless she moves wrong, but everyone experieces that when they have surgery, as you are very aware of). I am doing great; I am sitting here in Study Hall, and today is our half day; we get off at noon, so I will be able to eat lunch at home today.
We heard from our new sister-to-be in Sri Lanka; she wrote us a letter (with help), and she did a really good job. She even sent us a picture of herself, and she is a real cutie! I am getting excited at the thought of Rani and Arjun's arrival into our family, and it is like they are REAL people (which, of course, they ARE!)! She seems like a smart one; maybe when she is in school, she may be put into the Gifted/Talented class?...
We also found out that M'buti, our friend originally from Kanya, Africa, her husband, and oldest son are going on a cruise. They are leaving tomorrow; they are going to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen in Mexico, and they will be going for five days. They have been planning this thing for months, it seemed, and now their trip is almost here! I bet they are going to have a ball! I have been on a cruise before, but we didn't go to Cozumel. Instead, we went to Alaska, and we had ourselves a GREAT time! We saw and did so much, and we saw (and ate) things we never expected! Alaska was beyond my wildest dreams, and when I saw the Northern Lights, I was like "YESSSSSSSSS!" :) My brother, Johnny, spent part of the journey by rail; he had a problem with the roughness of the water, and it really messed with his belly; and he spent some time in the infirmary. He was one sick little boy, but I didn't have any problems with my tummy; just with my walking is all. Have you EVER tried to walk ON a cruise ship?? NOT easy! I fell a few times (didn't hurt myself), but I laughed it off, and I just continued on my merry way; but for about a week and a half, I felt like I was still ON that ship when we got off! We went on the Disney Cruise ship, and we had a BLAST! We are going to do it again maybe in a year or so, as soon as maman and daddy save enough money again. But the next time we go, the ENTIRE Sandusky family is going; so this will be an experience and a HALF!! We will probably take up the MAIN majority of the ship! LOL We are already looking forward to it! :) ANYway, M'Buti and Roberto are going to have to tell us all about Cozumel and Playa del Carma when they come back! I bet they are going to have an experience they will ALWAYS remember; I know I will never forget the cruise I went on last year!! :)
Well, I know this is short, but we are going to be going to lunch in about ten minutes; and it takes me a bit to get down to the cafeteria. I will write more later; so until then, take care! Sorry for going on about the cruise; but I got carried away and just sorta' sailed on off (a little "cruise humor" here; forgive me?? LOL)! But you just GOTTA' go on one; you would NOT believe what you can do or see on one of those cruises! WHEE!

It must be nice to have childhood friends, write letters back and forth, tell each other of the many things going on. I wish I had those memories. Thnx Karen, I Like this series.
