More of the continuing misadventures of Studio Reader Stan. This week he reports back to Mr. Gold to share how he failed in trying to fix socialite Rome Marriott's screenplay.
Studio Reader Stan meets again with Mr. Gold, the executive at Quality Studios.

Studio Reader Stan: Mr. Gold, I just spent an hour of my life I’ll never see again with Rome Marriott, trying to fix her script. It’s unfixable. It can’t be done.

Mr. Gold: I’m sure you’re exaggerating. I saw her on Access Hollywood talking about it. She mentioned a mongoose and a bikini. That’s good stuff.

Studio Reader Stan: Sir, you have to trust me. It’ll be a crime to waste precious film on that horrendous piece of crap she thinks is a script.

Mr. Gold: It’s too late. Principal photography starts tomorrow. We hired that hot new Ukranian video director.

Studio Reader Stan: Isn’t he in a coma?

Mr. Gold: He just woke up. This is his first project back. Isn’t that brilliant? You can’t buy that kind of publicity.

Studio Reader Stan: Is he healthy enough to undertake directing a movie?

Mr. Gold: I’m sure he is. We’ll just have to keep the needles away from him this time.

Studio Reader Stan: I don’t understand why would you rush this thing into production.

Mr. Gold: It’s all about the calendar. I want it to be seen in time for awards season.

Studio Reader Stan suddenly wishes there was a window to leap out of.

Studio Reader Stan should make sure the window is on the first floor. An old lawyer trick I heard about. Aw hell, tell Studio Reader Stan to just dump wax on the girl - not sex wax - that's for surfboards...regular wax. I swear, it'll be the hit of the summer...HOT!
