Dear Journal~
I thought I would write in here, especially since I have but one day left from school. I am happy to say that I passed all my finals, and I will be moving on up to the next grade, which is grade seven. I will be going to Donelson Junior High School, and I will probably be in the Multi-Handicapped, or Special Needs, class. I just hope I do as well next year as I did this year; this year was the best year I have ever had, as far as school and learning is concerned!
I am doing okay, but I have those darn tests to look forward to (NOT!), and I am so worried what they may "find" when they get the results back. I don't want to hear that my MD is getting worse, especially since I have been doing so well with my health! It's been a while since I was last in the hospital for anything, and my seizures (and my breathing) have been behaving themselves; neither one of them has been causing me any problems. I have actually been doing well, and the only thing that HAS bothered me is my weakness; I have had a few days when I was as weak as a kitten, but nothing much more than that.
Tomorrow is the last day of school, and that is always a special day for me because I can have three months off, and we can play and do whatever we want with "no more books and no more teacher's dirty looks"! :) I also don't have to worry so much about homework, and I can play, play, play to my heart's content! WHEE! We also have vacations to look forward to, and who knows where we will go this year?? Last year and this year I went to Alaska; maybe I can go back there?...I wouldn't mind; I loved meeting Sikik and staying with her (blubber and all! LOL), and I loved meeting her family! I also loved staying with Jenna Aurora Doucet and her husband, Michael, last year! I would love to see her again too!
Speaking of Jenna, I wonder how she is doing?...I haven't heard from her...hope she (or Michael) is doing okay!...
I saw a cute movie last week; we saw "Madagascar", and it was funny! I loved the giraffe; he was a HOOT!! He kept pretending to be sick all the time, anything to get out of being put in a box and shipped asea; he was crazzzzzzzzzzzzy!! LOL I also loved the penguins in the movie! They were funny, too~ I would love to see it again; it is that good!
My sister, Ronee', is having hip replacement surgery at about the same time I go in for my tests, but she will be in the hospital longer than I will. She will probably be in for a week. ANYWAY, she is bummed about the surgery because it means that she won't get to do much except recuperate and have therapy, and she will also get to miss camp; and that is bothering her as well. She goes to an arthritis camp for kids with arthritis every August, and now she can't go, so she is upset about that. And her friend, Nicole Aldape, is in the hospital with a very bad flare, and she is worried about Nicole. I just hope and pray that Ronee' does well during her surgery and that she has an uneventful recovery!
Okay...let's see what else I can write about...oh, yeah! We had some bad storms the other night; but no damage. Just a lot of booming and bamming, and some hail; but nothing TOO serious. We have had a lot of rain lately because of a pesky low that refuses to budge, and it's really been nasty out here lately! I will be sooo glad when that stupid low leaves, so I can go outside and PLAY!! I HATE being stuck inside the house on a rainy day!! ICK!!
Well, I am going to go for now; I have to get ready and go to the store with daddy; he wants me to go with him. That is good, at least I can get out of the house! Maybe I can find a new video to watch or a game to play; and maybe daddy will take me out for pizza like he did last time...we went to Chuck E. Cheese's, and I won a bunch of tokens that I still have to use up! So on that note, bye! I will write more after I have my stupid tests; hopefully it will be good news! I will be sooo happy when they are over! I HATE medical tests....especially when NEEDLES or PAIN is involved....
Great story! That part about "no more book's no more teacher's dirty looks" you otter go with that and make it into a whole poem for all ages to recite on their last day of school. Put it in a newspaper and send it to schools bet Ap would pick it up. (c :)
