Dear Ellen~
I am laughing as I write this; I can't believe you actually said that about my writing! I have never been told that my writing is "wordy", as you so eloquently put it! I just write what is inside my heart, or what God places there, and sometimes the words come tumbling out! I can't help it sometimes! LOL
But I thank you for being so honest with what I do. I love it! LOL Maybe it IS a surprise that I "got published", but I am glad that I DID! Apparently SOMEONE likes what I do, so I am grateful for the opportunity to share my writing with others!
I have some good news to share with you: we are in the process of adding to the family yet again. I know, I know..I am crazy, as I already have a village LOL, but when I heard about this child and then saw her picture (which we got in the mail the other day), my heart melted, and now we are getting our papers together to start the adopting process. The little girl is from Romania, she is eight years old, and she has spina bifida. She CAN walk, albeit on crutches, and sometimes she uses a wheelchair, but she is so pretty! She has short, brown hair and green eyes, and she is just so CUTE!! Her name is Janica Kryzstina, and she is in desperate need of a family! If things go well, we may have little Janica by Christmas!
I am glad that you and Walter are "hanging in there", but I am sorry that family members are acting so indifferent towards you! If they know you didn't start the fire, why then are they treating you so badly? It doesn't make much sense! I hope and pray that this tension eases between your family! All I can say is this: just tell these people the truth, and let it go. If they still can't accept that, then just walk off and don't bother with them!
I am also glad that you got the package! I can rest easy now and not bug UPS to see if the package got there! LOL I hope you enjoy all that we sent! It may not help out too much, but it WILL help out a little! I just wish there was more I could do for you in your time of great need!
How is the weather there in Indiana? Here it is partly cloudy, and we have had a threat for rain every day; there is a stubborn low that absolutely REFUSES to budge! Please send us some drier (and SUNNIER) weather if you can!!
Well, Ellen, this isn't much of a letter, but I am at work now as I write this, and I am on break. I also am hungry, and I had better get something to eat before I miss out on lunch altogether! God bless you and Walter always, and know you are still both in my prayers! Write back if you need ANYTHING! Or just call me on my cell! I'll be in touch!
